You need a valid driving licence (international or from your home country), a passport or national ID, and a credit/debit card or cash deposit. If your licence is not in English or French, an International Driving Permit (IDP) is recommended.

Yes. Rwanda accepts most foreign licences for short-term visitors (up to 90 days). For longer stays, you may need to obtain a Rwandan licence or carry an International Driving Permit alongside your home licence.

Absolutely. You can hire a car for self-drive or with a professional English- and French-speaking driver. Many clients prefer a driver for safari trips and first-time visits, while repeat visitors and residents often choose self-drive.

Our fleet includes Toyota RAV4 and Fortuner for city and upcountry travel, Land Cruiser Prado and V8 for safaris and rough terrain, Mitsubishi Outlander, Toyota Hiace minibus (8–14 seats), and Toyota Coaster bus (25–30 seats). All vehicles are well-maintained, insured, and regularly serviced.

Rates start from around $40–$60/day for a compact SUV (RAV4) on self-drive. A 4×4 Land Cruiser with driver typically costs $120–$180/day. Long-term rentals (30+ days) receive significant discounts. Fuel, tolls, and parking are usually the renter's responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

No strict minimum — we offer daily, weekly, and monthly rentals. However, one-day hires may carry a small surcharge. Airport transfers and city taxi services are available for single trips.

Yes. We offer Kigali International Airport (KGL) transfers around the clock. Your driver will meet you at arrivals with a name sign. We can also arrange transfers to and from other Rwandan airports and border crossings.

All rentals include comprehensive insurance, 24/7 roadside assistance, and unlimited mileage within Rwanda. Cross-border travel (Uganda, Tanzania, DRC, Burundi) is available at an additional fee with advance notice.

Yes, cross-border travel is permitted to Uganda, Tanzania, the DRC, Burundi, and Kenya with prior arrangement. Additional paperwork and a cross-border fee apply. Please inform us at least 48 hours before your trip.

You can book online through our website, via WhatsApp at +250 788 439 022, by email, or by calling us directly. We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance, especially during peak season (June–September and December–January).

All our vehicles come with 24/7 roadside assistance. If the car develops a mechanical fault, call our emergency line and we will arrange a replacement vehicle or on-site repair as quickly as possible — usually within 2–4 hours anywhere in Rwanda.

Fuel is not included. You receive the car with a full tank and return it full. Petrol stations are widely available in Kigali and major towns. In rural areas, stations are less frequent, so we advise filling up before leaving main roads.

Yes. For Volcanoes National Park gorilla trekking, we recommend a 4×4 such as the Land Cruiser Prado or Safari Cruiser. The roads to Musanze (Ruhengeri) are tarmac, but the last stretch to park headquarters can be rough — a 4×4 handles it with ease.

Cancellations made more than 72 hours before pickup are fully refundable. Cancellations within 24–72 hours incur a 50% charge. No-shows or same-day cancellations are charged in full. We understand plans change — contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate.
