Musanze Town

Arrive in Musanze and fill up on fuel before heading to Kinigi (13 km). Supermarkets, ATMs, and restaurants are all on the main road through town.

What to Do in Musanze

Gorilla Trekking

Volcano Hiking

Climb Mount Bisoke (3,711 m) for a crater lake at the summit, or tackle Karisimbi (4,507 m) as a two-day expedition.

Twin Lakes

Lake Burera and Lake Ruhondo lie in the volcanic foothills. A scenic drive from Musanze with canoeing and fishing.
