A 227 km hiking and cycling trail that runs along the eastern shore of Lake Kivu from Gisenyi to Kamembe. You can drive sections of it or park your car and hike shorter stretches for incredible lake views.
Walk the vibrant local markets, visit the colonial-era architecture along the lake front, and enjoy fresh tilapia at lakeside restaurants. The DRC border crossing at La Corniche offers views of Goma and Mount Nyiragongo.
