Stations in Muhanga, Kibuye, and Rubavu (Route A) or Gakenke, Musanze, and Rubavu (Route B). Fill up before leaving Kigali.

Kibuye (Karongi)

On Route A, Kibuye sits on a peninsula in Lake Kivu. Worth a lunch stop several lakeside restaurants serve fresh tilapia and chips.

DRC Border

Gisenyi borders Goma (DRC). If you plan to cross, we arrange cross-border paperwork. You will need a DRC visa and yellow fever certificate.
