Get to Volcanoes National Park in comfort with a reliable 4×4 and professional driver. Free Kigali pickup, Musanze hotel delivery, and 24/7 support throughout your gorilla trekking adventure.
Gorilla trekking starts at Volcanoes National Park headquarters in Kinigi, near Musanze — about 2.5 hours northwest of Kigali. While the main highway is smooth tarmac, the last stretch to park HQ and many lodge access roads are unpaved and can be muddy, especially in the rainy season.
A 4×4 vehicle handles these conditions with ease and gives you the ground clearance and traction you need. We pair every gorilla trekking rental with a driver who knows the route, the lodges, and the park access roads — so you arrive relaxed and ready to trek.
Every vehicle comes fully insured, with unlimited mileage and a professional English/French-speaking driver.
